Hey just wondering if anyone is applying to UAB's MSN program. I'm applying to their FNP program, but still unsure as to whether or not i'm making the right decision about school choice. I'm specifically wondering about the time commitment. I work full-time and am wondering if I would still be able to keep my full-time job and do the distance learning format full-time as well. Also, cost is a major issue to me as my husband is racking up a gizzion dollars in dental school loans. Any info would be awesome.
So I'm in hawaii and did get accepted to USA dnp program. And today I received an email from UAB to get my background check and lab test done....but still no letter of acceptance. So I guess I'm accepted not sure...but now a little concern about all this part time talk?? I'm confused all the way around and trying to figure out what to do (go to USA, go to UAB if I got in) I will just have to attempt to call someone at UAB in the morning.
I'm in IN and I'm still waiting to find out if I'm accepted too. I'm so anxious that I haven't been able to sleep this week and I'm battling serious bouts of nausea!! I'm waiting to hear from 2 other schools as well so this is really killing me. I feel like I've aged 2yrs in the past 2 months, lol!
Are you actually notarizing the copied documents (nursing license and BLS) ? If so where are you getting it done? Anyone been able to talk to student affairs?
There's public notaries at any bank and lots of secretaries at offices and such. Technically a notary is not allowed to validate a document and they almost refused to help me. They can only validate a signature. I went and copied my BLS, drivers license, and RN license front and back and wrote on there that it was in fact mine and signed it and she signed it with me.
See rmicu's post for the corrected number to fax to. (A notarized signature means nothing legally if its faxed) But whatever will satisfy them.

resilient nurse- I'm not sure, it let me submit as many as I wanted. I originally just had three, then I ran into an old clinical instructor that asked if she could write one.... figured it could only help.
rmicu- If you hear back from the lady about how to submit that, let me know. :) Thanks.
