Anyone applying to MJC or San Joaquin Delta College?

I'm applying to MJC and Delta for Fall '10. Just wondering if anyone else out there is also applying? :)

The most frustrating part for me was that they waited until the day we were supposed to be notified to tell us. Why didn't they post a message earlier?? Anyway... I'm so very excited about getting the ball rolling and starting nursing school!!!! I also feel like I can't start planning until I know for sure. Best of luck to all of us!!

HI everyone! Just wanted to jump in on the discussion and say that I too received the email from Delta College to submit supporting documentation and the email that was sent out on Friday about waiting another WHOLE WEEK!!! LOL :mad: I am getting so anxious and nervous about all this waiting its driving me nuts!! I am scared I may only be selected as an alternate, and have to wait longer to fulfill my dreams of becoming a nurse. Good luck to all and hopefully we will all be celebrating admission on the 18th. Prayers and best wishes to all of you!

Hi Everyone....I'm a Delta student and will be applying in the fall for spring entrance...I delayed my teas test since Delta only lets you take the test once. Anyway..I was just curious...you guys haven't heard anything for sure from Delta? Not to freak anyone out but I know someone who applied for fall 10 and already knows that he is in for sure. Not sure how they are handling acceptance but that seems weird to me. I think he knew like the last week of May? Whats going on? Keep us all Posted. I applied at Sac City and MJC...It was a no go on Sac but waiting til July for MJC. Good Luck Everyone:redbeathe its all a Crap Shoot!

Hi CaRnwnt2b, Not sure how your friend would know for sure? Delta sent out emails to everyone who was accepted and waitlisted...the problem is, no one really knows where they stand on that list. I'd be interested to know how he knows for sure.

I also applied to MJC...I can't believe we don't find anything out until mid July. Seems late to me. Good luck to you!

Your friend may have misunderstood the email. It is a bit misleading, since it starts out with congratulations! But the letters sent out thus far were just stating that those people are "qualified" to support documentation. The final ranking has yet to be completed. Once they do the final ranking, we will know if we are in or not. I'm SO frustrated they postponed our notification though. I feel like I can't even celebrate summer until I know!

It's not just you... I was able to keep myself busy until last Friday, now this week is driving me nuts! I hope they don't postpone the final ranking again!

Anyone in Sacramento that wants to carpool? I want to get into the Lodi Memorial Hospital cohort, but even if we aren't in the same clinical class, every Thursday and Friday everyone has the same classes at the Delta campus. YOu guys can check out the schedules at the delta website.

Cobee, I am also in Sacramento. I think there is another person also who may attend Delta that lives in Sacramento on this blog. It would be great to have study partners too. Carpooling is a great idea too! I guess we can talk more when we actually find out Friday. I'm SO NERVOUS!!!
