i emailed montgomery and north harris to find out when the acceptance letters would be mailed out. i received a response from montgomery stating that it should be sometime within the next week. i'm still waiting to hear back from north harris.

Im thinking about applying to the ADN program in the spring 2009. Can someone explain the point system.
Thanks
Go to the website to get all the exact details, but it breaks down like this:
There are 12 possible points broken down into 3 sections.
Section 1 is GPA. Your GPA in english 1301, psych, and A&PI or II (which ever is higher) is figured. 4.0 would be perfect and therefore give you 4 points.
Section 2 is how many hours you have completed of core (non-nursing) classes toward your ADN. 4ps would mean you have only 1 or no classes left to take from the required list.
Section 3 is your reading score from the HESI. a score of 100% would give you 4 points.
To be competitive you need around an 11.2 or higher.

Hi hypocaffeinemia!
Was there any favoritism involved?
Depends on which. I don't want to get myself in trouble, but I'll just say some are more helpful than others, and which one you end up with as far as your clinical instructor is luck of the draw.
