Anyone applying at La puente, or other LPN program?

I'm seeking a friendly and motivated study partner. I have taken the TABE level A test before and passed the math 12.9 but failed the English portion. We can help each other and minimize our study preparation time so if you're seeking a study partner , please feel free to message me.

Does El Monte have a pre lvn class? I don't remember reading anywhere about it? Do you anyone that has graduated from the El Monte program? Also El Monte also has oneprogram every year right? As opposed to La Puente that has one in Jan. and June.

Yes there is a pre lvn class too, once a year. No I don't know anyone who graduated from the progrAm.

You do not need a TABE prep class.

It is simple 12 grade english/math etc. I honestly thought it was going to be super tough so I bought the TEAS V book to study, cause i know its not harder than that. When I took the TABE, i skim read question skim answered move on to the next. If I had time I would double check. Passed it easily. It is really basic english and math.

For Hacienda, when you do get into the prelvn. We had a to retain a minimum of 75%, if we had more than 24 students, and multiple people with 75% whoever with the lowest percentage gets cut.

If I could remember fundamentals, we went over about 40-50 chapters in a month so prepare to have a test everyday if you get in.

With the application to el monte did u turn in an essay?

Yes, i had to write a 150 word essay. All the information is on the application sheet. You needed official high school transcripts, essay, copies of medical certificates, cpr card if have any and transcript of medical terminology class if you already have taken the class

Yes I took it sept 19th and made it to pre lvn class

That's for El Monte right? The pre class? I was told the one for Hacienda La Puente wouldn't start until late October/early November.

I was told they went till the end of the month.
