I submitted my application and was wondering if anyone else is applying for the Sept 2017 start date in Houston?

Yes I am trying to get into the Sept cohort. I am finishing up my A&P class next week so I can transfer my grade. Have you taken the TEAS test?
Yes I took my teas 1 week ago. I scored an 74%. Not as high as I hoped for but I went ahead and applied anyway. All they can say is no. Have you taken your teas? Today ( 7/1/17) is the deadline to submit your application for the sept 17 cohort.
My application was already submitted so I'm wondering if I am still able to get my class transferred in and retake the teas test. I will contact my advisor Monday.

You will not be considered for the Sept. cohort since you have not finished all the prereqs. To be considered everything must be completed. However, you can retake the TEAS and WGU takes the higher one.
Centercourt is right. To be considered, you have to have completed your prerequisites. I do understand the confusion. The application you submitted is to WGU but it is not actually submitted to the nursing program until you have submitted all of the requirements, including the prerequisites, letter of intent, recommendation letter, resume and the Teas exam.
If you are finishing your final pre-req then you should be ready for the next Cohort, if you also the other requirements.
Thank you. My advisor did get back with me so I will have everything ready for October 1 deadline for the December cohort. This will give me more time to study and retest for the TEAS. I wish you all well and I hope we all can get in very soon.
That's great news! I actually didn't even know they added a December start date. We should keep in touch, i will pm you
Yes we should definitely keep in touch. I would like to have someone to talk to during this nursing journey. We will make it through.

I've applied but my teas was lower than yours 😔. Doesn't hurt to try. I should be receiving a call in 2-3 weeks.. keeping my fingers crossed!!
Good luck to you. Keep me updated. May be we will be studying together to raise our score!
I sure Will! You as well. I did good on math and reading the other 2 parts were the ones that brought down my score. Do you know when your advisor will tell you?
