Hello all! Just wondering if anyone applied to St. Mary's for the Summer 2019 semester. Has anyone heard anything back or know what their timeline is? I had heard that they no longer do live interviews. Is this correct? Anyway, good luck to whoever applied and hopefully we get to work together next year!
Wait, was a Chemistry class required within the last 5 years? I don't remember seeing that as a requirement. My GPA is well above the average according to that letter and my ICU experience is right around the average. My chemistry courses are 6-1/2 years old though. Damn I'm really nervous now because it could go either way. It sounds like they have already made the selections though so now we just have to wait it out. I'm all the way in California so my rejection or acceptance let has a long trip to take from Minnesota.
Go ask a student what school it says on their diploma. MSA students diplomas come from SMU, in case you didn't know. So it's really like applying to the same school if you think about it.
Hey! Can I have your email so I can ask you some questions about the program? I'm not able to PM here just yet
Yeah i wonder if it was just a generic response that wasn't necessarily what happened this year. According to a previous post it sounded like everyone had already been accepted but maybe they haven't finished but are just sending rejection letters as they rule people out. I'm super anxious now and check my mail everyday. Did your friends online app status change at all??
I agree with you about the anxiety being ramped up by not receiving a rejection letter yet. Is that a good thing? Am i just getting my hopes up?? I just want some closure at this point! LOL. Dammit, I literally just saw the mailman just up the road headed my way Commence diarrhea sequence....

A coworker of mine received a rejection letter on Monday (April 30th) dated for April 25th. Very generic rejection letter with main part stating: "of those who have been selected, the average math/science course grade point average was 3.3 on a 4.0 scale, all had taken a baccalaureate level organic of inorganic chemistry course in the past five years, and the average number of years of experience was three years in an intensive care area." I have yet to hear anything though for my own status.
