anyone apply for sccc fall 2011 nursing program?

Just looking for company ... Has anyone applied for ammerman's fall 2011 nursing program? What are your grades and does anyone know last years GPA cutoff? Also, do you know anyone who got in without four A's?

This is a new thread...others are from a few urs ago.

I thought is was letters that went out - I havent seen any calls on older threads - thats great Congrats!

Hope I get a letter or a call - anything would be good at this point... LOL

I had applied for the Fall 2010 and got a letter saying I had all the required courses but there was to many applicants and that I should take Micro and re-apply and I did and got an "A" in Micro and re-applied... and now I wait - hope that helped me.

good luck shoehat,and yes i'm currently full time @ the grant campus. i'm graduating with my liberal arts general studies in the summer.

I bet that makes a difference too - I have my A.S. from years ago and then returned to school late 2009 but I am in Farmingdale (closer to my Job) but suffolk is closer to my house, so I prefer there...

I guess I will just keep my fingers crossed a little longer

Just called nursing dept since I get nowhere with admissions in am merman....letters go out beg of next week!

Milkdudds ....that is a 3.3 gpa .... So I hope that means that I make the cut with a 3.5......oh I am praying soooooooooo hard!

Do they go off of anything else to choose, or just those four classes?

Pretty positive it's just the 4 classes. Micro as a tie breaker.
