I was just curious who applied to NS in the Sacramento California programs.

Have any of you heard anything yet?

I just wanted to say thank you so much to all of you! It feels so great to have a support network of people that REALLY knows what it's like in the rigors of the process.

This is my second semester applying to all sac area cc's. I'm pretty sure I'll be heading for the third try since I have yet to hear anything! I did get my CNA this semester & am working on BS transfer requirements while I wait...though still so frustrating! Good luck to you all, and congrats to those who have made it!:yeah:

Hey there, I heard yesterday from two of the schools. Since I'm not jumping for joy, I guess you can tell I got the thin envelopes of rejection from Sierra and Sac City. Haven't heard from ARC yet.

Well MedicalNerd you have a study partner right here because I just got my acceptance letter from ARC!!!:yeah: Congratulations on your acceptance also. We definitely have to hook up. It would be great to go through nursing school with someone I know.

Yes that is totally awesome!!

I totally agree we will have to meet up at the Orientation that is June 10th! I will have to give you my e-mail address too!

OMG I have a friend that was an alternate from last semester that will be getting in for fall too! She is a really awesome person, We will have a great study group!

Yes I sure did, it totally confused me when I read it because it was on top of the other page that actually told you that you were accepted.

Are you going to turn in your form tomorrow? I am going to do it on Tuesday after my Med Dosage class.

I transfered my TEAS scores to them this afternoon.

OMG... I am so excited!

So where are you going to school right now? Do you live near the school?

I haven't received the official "rejection" letters yet...but I know they'll arrive any day since people have already received their acceptance packets :( Maybe the third time will be a charm???

I am sorry that you haven't heard yet. I know it is really hard to accept that it may not happen for Fall. I have been through that 3 times!

What is most important is not giving up! Winners never quit! Your letter will come! Each day that goes by is one day closer to the day you open that acceptance letter!

I had to tell myself that over and over for 2 years! It did help me in hard times.

Just please don't give up!

Yes it is discouraging however, being strong and determined is something that they CAN'T say NO to!!!

Yes I sent her an e-mail on Saturday and she said that she received her letter as well. She was really excited as well. I am really so glad we will be able to be in together, we worked really well together when we were in A&P. It will be nice to start and know someone and their learning style and how they study!
