Anyone apply to CSU Stanislaus or Sonoma?

Hi there! So i am patiently (as possible!) waiting to hear back from CSU Stanislaus and Sonoma - Im getting to the point where Im reaaly anxious and nervous - and checking my email and mail 13872194 times a day :) Anyone else out there waiting too? Lol it'd be nice to have someone go crazy with me!:yeah:

yup, got my rejection letter via mail too. give them a call, plus whoever picked up for me also gave me a run down on my stats and what not seeing how i didn't get in.

Did you apply other schools? Maybe you will get in for your 2nd choice. Don't give up!

oh man, Im going crazy. .lol . i did just get a letter the other day from the school of human and health science, but it didnt say nursing program . . hmm . . did you guys get that letter also? It just said welcome to the school of health science . .blah blah. . . I will definitely give them a call soon if i dont hear anything.

i applied for the majority of the CSU's, but i automatically got rejected because i didnt have certain pre-reqs finished by a certain deadline, though sjsu and east bay changed their deadlines after i stopped looking. lame? same for humboldt. waiting for sfsu,sac and sd and my big choices, and stanislaus and fresno and back ups since i don't really know if i want to attend them (i don't know the areas too well and not too much infor about the schools themselves are floating around)

Oic! I haven't heard anything back from Sac State and CSUEB, so I am not sure if their decision letters have gone out yet but I heard someone from this forum has already received the acceptance letter from SFSU (for their regular BSN program). For now, I am expecting the acceptance letter from SFSU 'cause that's my 1st choice. I applied for their Sequoia/Canada College program since they are not accepting applicant who holds a bachelors degree for their regular BSN program. I called their nursing department, the lady told me the letter should be going out this week and she also informed me about my admission status over the phone, so I don't have to keep worrying whether I should go for the ADN program. If you don't hear from SFSU after this week, I suggest you call them for your admission status. Good luck!

I just got my letter and i was accepted!! Oh my gosh this has been the most stressful couple years, but it is all worth it now!!! I still am in shock and cant believe it!:yeah:

yelle i got my acceptance letter today too! just realized my older posts was actually a rejection from chico, somehow i got it mixed up lol. since this is probably the only program ill get into out of the bunch, i guess its time to start thinking ahead and what not. and since the program is still pretty new, theres really not much information out there along with current/pass student experiences.

in any case, seeking house mates :)

Yay!!! Congratulations!! That is so exciting! I know, i have received 4 rejection letters and i still have not heard back from 2 colleges - but o well :lol2:!!!! what are your gpa/teas? I have a 3.6-3.7, and only 1 B in sciences and 89.4 on teas, but also have healthcare experience

yup im still waiting on a few too. assist isnt really working so I don't know which classes apply but my gpa is like a 3.7ish probably, not too sure since i go to 2 different CCs. I got A's in my sciences except a B in chem30a and like a 84.9 on my teas that i winged so we're not too off lol.

ill probably make plans to check the school and area out sometime the weekend after sungod since it's only a couple hours from where im from

Yes, i think because the program is still relatively new - its hard to find any information. Even their website doesnt seem to have a lot of information. I would like to know what to expect of the program . . do you know if they offer summer courses? I live about 4 1/2 hours away, but my parent live close to the campus. Have you visited the Campus yet? Its pretty nice, i took my TEAS there in January. I Cant Wait!

Nope never been to the campus or area. I actually never heard of csu stan before i looked into nursing schools. At the very least you get to save money on housing by living with your folks haha. I've read up that csu stan is pretty nice too but i'll see myself when i check it out in sometime in the next few weeks. It was probably one of my last priority schools when i first applied but now, I'm just glad I got in :D
