how was it? can you share your experiences? I heared there's a height requirement? Did they already pick applicants that are for training?

How long have you been waiting? Actually, after my first interview, they told us to wait for a call or an email after a month for deliberation or evaluation of the results of the interview, IQ test, and other credentials written in your application sheet. If no calls or email are received, your papers was sent to active file. Meaning, they'll put your papers on hold until another slot for technical interview is free. You will not be the priority.
I'm still waiting for their calls or email.:)
hi all! I'm just being morbid and all but can you reapply if you don't make it past the initial interview?? Haven't received a call from them yet boohooothank you for your replies!!!
those who didn't make it to the initial or technical interview could reapply after 6 months. that's what they told us.
hi, i know how everybody feels about not having a nursing job in the Philippines. it's really a dog-eat-dog world out there in the field of nursing. we just have to put our chin up and expect the worst thing to happen because nobody cares if no one will hire you, so stop whining and hope for the best.
i applied at st.lukes global city last july and i got a text message last july 26 for the initial interview. i passed. last august 26, i went through with my technical interview, and i passed it along with 3 out of 5 applicants. but when the 3 of us had our medical exam one of my companion was told that she was not fit for training because she said that she had intermittent asthma and she took steroids 3 years ago. she was so close in getting that job but unfortunately, the VP herself or himself told the hr that she will not be hired in St. Lukes Global City.
as for the technical interview, i found it quite easy because the questions were very simple and very basic nursing knowledge. i submitted my other requirements last september 1, and i was told that my training would be on october. it's quite a long wait and every week i kept on hoping that they would call for my training.
like i've said, keep your hopes up and have faith in yourselves and capabilities. :)
hi incubusaddict, did you have your bls and ivt training already?i passed my resume last july too.... but no call from them.
hi, sad as it may seem, you should reapply again because probably your application was misplaced or got to the bottom pile of the numerous applications that were being accommodated everyday. and i have heard that st.luke's is biased when it comes to choosing an applicant from a good nursing school, i don't know i just heard it from my colleague who just finished her 1st month training. she's part of the 1st batch of trainees for slmc-bgc. you should wait for their call for a month, at most, after you're done with your initial interview..
and yes, i have had my training for bls, acls, ekg and ivt. but there are a lot of june 2008 applicants who were hired by st.lukes even though they don't have licenses yet. you should try to go there on wed-thurs morning so that you can have a bigger chance of being interviewed. a lot of people are coming in on mondays and tuesdays, and you should go there early and dressed in corporate attire. hope this helps. goodluck to us all.
for those who are in the provinces right now,SLMC-GC HR staff are touring around the country and visiting schools-something they call as employment roadshow..SO it's better to ask your school now..SLMC HR staff just recently went here in cagayan de oro and then in iligan city...Not sure what place will be next so better ask your school now...
They will give an IQ test to all applicants and then choose the ones who passed..Those who passed the IQ test will then be interviewed and will be asked to take an online assessment exam...If you passed the second level, you will be then scheduled to have the technical interview ..
