I have applied for Fall 2010 and received a pink card stated that the application has been processed. I can't wait to see what the outcome will be. Im very anxious to know if I will be attending CCBC this Fall. Anyone applied for Fall 2010 at CCBC?
I think I'm going to sign up for the June 1st online one also. Just have to decide if I want to do the testing in the morning or at night to determine my section. I may go with the evening one. I have a four year old so I need to make sure i check with my hubby first so we can coordinate our schedules.
I got my CPR certification in January...so I can cross that one off the list.
I'm sure we'll have lots more to do once we get to orientation. Can't wait to get started!
I went over to the Childcare center last Friday to check it out. I had looked into it a while ago but then enrolled my daughter into private Pre-school at St. Peters. I love the school but the more I think about it I would way rather have her on campus. It is a bit cheaper then the private school and they provide meals and I would not have to put her in a uniform everyday. I liked the CCBC Childcare center but it was nap time when I went so I could not really get a good feel for the place. It also seemed a bit cluttered and unorganized in there...but I could be wrong. I am planning on going back and taking my daugher with me to see what she thinks. I also want to see what kind of aid I can get and if it would cover any of my daycare costs. I really do not want to work while I am in school but I am not sure if that is going to be possible. You have to let me know what you think of the place when you check it out. I have mixed feelings but it I am pointing in the direction of having her in the Essex pre-school.
"Testing will be held on the Essex Campus from 9:00 am to 11 am on June 14, 15,17 and 21"Does this mean we have a choice of when to test.... on one of these dates? It doesn't mean we have to test on each of these days, does it? thanks!
You have four chances to pass the test with a 95 or better. So if you take it the first day and pass you are done and do not have to test the other three days. If you do not pass then you have 3 other test dates available.
Now if you dont test the first day you only have 3 test dates left for example if the first day you test is the 15th...then you have the 17th, and 21st to take the test again.
I would take the test the first day so you give yourself the maximum chances to test.
Hopefully...we'll all pass on the first try!

I'll definitely let you know what I think. I have 2 other schools I am looking at also. The Goddard School and Kindercare.
I was looking at private preschool but I could not find any that were full time. Is St. Peters full time?
OK! Thanks...do you know anything about the "Learning Harbor"...14 modules we have to demonstrate competency in?
I believe the Learning Harbor is online training for things like HIPPA and BloodBorne Pathogens etc etc.
I found this link when I googled it the other day http://www.learningharbor.com/catalog.asp
