I have applied for Fall 2010 and received a pink card stated that the application has been processed. I can't wait to see what the outcome will be. Im very anxious to know if I will be attending CCBC this Fall. Anyone applied for Fall 2010 at CCBC?
Yes, St. Peters is full time pre-school...and it is a great school. I know a few friends that take their children there and are very pleased. It is not all that expensive unless you need before and after care. I think we would need the before care considering most of our days start really early once in clinicals. St. Peters opens at 8:45 so the before care would be needed. I also looked at Goddard and was not impressed, the price was very high and I just thought the place was stuffy. My boyfriends daughter goes to the one in Bel-Air and loves it. I am sure the program is great but way out of my price range. I have heard some bad things about Kindercare so I did not even look into it. I would recommend St. Peters as a possible option. I have heard nothing but good things I am just worried it is not going to work with our school schedual. I am so confused about all of this....LOLIs this Learning Harbor something I need to be doing now? I have not seen this in any of the paperwork....someone fill me in...LOL
No Learning Harbor is not something we need to be doing now. We will find out about it at orientation I believe there is a fee we have to pay to access it and get login information.
I will stay away from Kindercare for sure. The Goddard School is expensive but has gotten some rave reviews. I'll know more once I've gone to check them out.
I have a couple of questions about the Dosage course. I have my book and am reviewing now. Does anyone know if the tests are written or computer based? Are they fill in or multiple choice? It looks like we can use a calculator provided by nursing. I just want to know how much practice I'll need diving decimals an such!

I have no information on the format of the test. That would be great to know.
Where did you find the information on the calculators? Everything I've found so far says that we cannot use calculators for the first test but can use them for every dosage test thereafter.
Maybe is varies by campus?
More questions are only leading to more questions...lol:uhoh3:
Vinedancer...yep, signed up for 51237. I am currently finishing up Microbiology, so I wanted to wait to take anything for a couple of weeks and take a break! There is a lot to do, but getting Dosage and CPR out of the way, puts a little dent in the long list!
Do you mind if I ask if you work and if you plan to continue working? By the way, my name is Bridgett and you can email me direct at [email protected] if you'd like.
Hi Bridgett,
I just tried to sign up for that dosage course and I got a big red X...I guess the class is filled. Microbiology was one of my favorite courses but it took a lot of studying! I do work but I have flexible hours (if that is even possible with kids). I will definitely email you. It comes in handy to have people you can connect with especially when taking online courses.
