  1. I am wondering if University of Maryland Medical Center offers a dependent tuition reimbursement benefit. Hopkins/Bayview does, not sure about other JH facilities. I've heard that they offer 100% for children of FT employees who go to UofMD school and 50% at other schools. Does anyone have a linke to this: http://www.bayviewjobs.org/employeebenefits/employeeresources/tuitionreimbursement.html
  2. I called the Essex campus and they said Records & Reg has a list of the new nursing students. So we just go in and register. They wanted to make it so we could register online, but they didn't make that happen yet. I'll go tomorrow morning.
  3. Bridgett, it would be too funny if we looked alike! However, I've had a bad case of housewifeitis over the years and its showing in my hips! This would be a first time for me to have another Bridget in any class or situation!
  4. My name is Bridget also! I'm online/hybrid at Catonsville. My orientation is on June 3rd. I didn't know we could sign up for the dosage now. So, we just go in and have them sign-off on it? I don't work, but I have six kids. We teach them at home. Are there different times for the online orientation or are we all on the same day?
  5. It was in the pack of papers that came with the acceptance letter, towards the back (online/hybrid RN). It said that calculators will be provided for the test by the nursing department. I'm not sure if thats for all test or not. It would be nice to know.
  6. I have a couple of questions about the Dosage course. I have my book and am reviewing now. Does anyone know if the tests are written or computer based? Are they fill in or multiple choice? It looks like we can use a calculator provided by nursing. I just want to know how much practice I'll need diving decimals an such!
  7. Congrats! Its a good feeling. I worked on those pre-reqs since Spring 2006! Now I really feel like the ball is rolling. Lots to do over the summer. I also live in Perry Hall. The online program will allow me to stay with my kids. Day or evening would be too disruptive to the family. Good luck.
  8. I applied to CCBC's Fall online/hybrid nursing program out of the Catonsville campus. I got my acceptance letter on Monday, May 3rd. It was postmarked April 30th. My friend got her acceptance to the same program on May 3rd and hers was postmarked May 1st. We both stalked the mailman and I'm sure there is a restraining order now! I hope you get something soon, either way. Waiting is the pits.
  9. I took Micro 230 with **** ***** at the Dundalk campus. It was worth the drive. Great teacher. Look him up on Ratemyprofessor.com. Loved him!
  10. I'm still waiting for the pink card! I applied to the Fall online program out of the Catonsville campus. I hear the acceptance letters can show up anywhere from the middle of April to the first week in May. Which program did you apply for?
  11. I hope you don't mind if I pick your brain a bit! I'm getting nervous. When you take the first dosage course (over the summer, I assume), is the first dosage test multiple choice? How about the other semesters for dosage tests? Thanks.
  12. I have a feeling they won't ask for either. Thanks for the info. I already applied and took that miserable TEAS test. I just have to wait now!
  13. Can anyone tell me about interview for CCBC's online hybrid nursing program? I've already applied and would like to prepare. Also, are the sticking to the direct patient experience requirement? I've heard they could "look the other way" on the that one. Thanks.
