I'm wondering if there are any other students that have been accepted at UCF Daytona in January for the regular BSN program? I just got my acceptance email tonight! I am SO happy and excited!:D The other people I've talked to on here that were accepted are going to Cocoa. Just wondering if there is anyone else out there?!?:nurse:

Hey, where did you guys go to order the uniforms? i looked on the school website and the closest thing is this: http://ucf.bncollege.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/VNeck_Tunic/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10001&storeId=16552&categoryId=40092&topCatId=40002&langId=-1&parentCatId=40026&productId=400000040485&level=

Is that what I'm supposed to buy? And did you get it mailed or did you have to pick it up?

I just went to the bookstore in Orlando because I had to pick my books up there. I only bought one top though cuz I was hoping to get the pants at an outlet store or online somewhere cheaper. And I wasn't even sure if the top would fit since there was nowhere to try it on.

Landau makes the tops, I went to the uniform store on the corner of Mason Ave and Clyde Morris in Daytona and tried one on. Just a warning they're mildly see-through. I'm definitely getting a white tank top or at least a white sports bra to wear underneath. Only reason we have to order them from the school is cause they need the UCF emblem thingy on it.

Hi,

If any current UCF/Daytona nursing students read this, can you PLEASE respond: I am applying for the Spring 2012 BSN program and I am wondering how the CON makes their selections. Do they only look at Cum GPA? What was the average TEAS Score. Is there any chance of getting in without having ALL classes done? I am currently taking Micro, which is the last class I need, but will not have a grade until the end of July(after the application deadline) I have an AA and got a 84.7 on the Teas. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. I am trying to figure my chances of getting in since this is the only College Im applying to. I dont have the option of relocating unfortunately... Congrats to all of those who were accepted.

Idk how they looked at them to be honest. I had an 88 TEAS, a 4.0 prereq GPA and a 3.95 cumulative. You have to have all of your prerequisites done by the time you start the program, not necessarily by the time the application is done I don't think. Good luck! And be prepared, they are NOT lying when they say you will be stressed beyond belief and lack sleep or any semblance of a social life. :]
