ANybody recieved interviews for CSULB spring 2011?

Hi, I was told by an acquaintance that interview invitations for spring 2011 BSN will handed out by september 20th.

THis does seem kind of early, but I haven't heard back from CSULB at all and so I was wondering when the interviews are. The CSULB lady has been very busy and hasn't gotten back to me.

Does anybody know if interview invitations have already been handed out for fall 2010 admissions?

jomort08- yeah they haven't been accepting lower division transfers for a while now... i thought you said it's because you didn't complete one of the required classes?!

anyways i saw on the csulb website that the app. process for spring 2011 remains open until november 10th. this is unbelievable!!! i'm just wondering if this means that the nursing department is still doing interviews due to this unusual application extention...?!

this is from csumentor.com for upper division transfer students:

CSULB is able to accommodate a significant number of eligible transfer students due to the funding provided in the recently passed state budget. These funds will be used to provide classes and services required for their success at CSULB. All programs are open except for Athletic Training, Kinesiology - Exercise Science and Kinesiotherapy options, Nursing, Radiation Therapy, Social Work, and Undeclared.

So nursing is not affected by this extension in the general university admissions.

and yeah...csulb still isn't accepting lower division transfers for spring 2011:

First-Time Freshmen and Lower Division Transfers: CSULB is closed to applications for Spring 2011.

I doubt they're doing interviews again, my sister never got a call from the school requesting an interview and she had a higher point score than me too.

Got a call from ---- with the news. They were able to correct the budget situation and therefore able to accept transfer students.

Oh okay. So you got into the Nursing School? Or were able to get into the University to be considered for Nursing School?

He's probably in due to the fact they went through all that trouble to accept transfer students and he got a personal call from the school?
