Any of you wear clothes under your scrubs?

I did that in paramedic school. Frankly, I can't stand scrubs, but that's just me. I like having pockets and a belt. I'm wondering if any of you got to work or clinicals and just slipped them on over your pants, etc. Changing shirts is easy. Just slip it on/off in the parking lot and go in.

Flammable? I figured it'd just shrink wrap on you, lol. :D

That too but it's hell to get off! LOL

Ever try any compression fit Under Armor? The stuff works wonders for me, but then I'm not a heavy sweater. I remebering wearing some shorts and a t-shirt under my clothes helping roof a house last summer.

We finished at about 5:00 pm under full sun exposure and south Arkansas summer temperatures and when we got down this guy named Joe said "Why aren't you sweating?" I said "Two reasons: I don't want to and Under Armor."

I recently bought a couple of compression shirts but haven't had a chance to try them out.

I usually shovel the snow off my driveway in shorts and a hoodie, mainly to keep the heat down. Last winter I had to wear pants, but only because the snow was 4 feet deep and the snow in my boots was getting annoying.

Anyway, I figure I'm going to be uncomfortable no matter what I wear under scrubs, but I prefer sleeves.

Do you pin flare on them? :D

I wear EMS pants with my scrub top over a t-shirt. Fills all of my belt/pockets/zippered-fly needs.

They're *under* the scrub top, duh.

...and yes, yes I do, but just the minimum required.

Concealed flare.... I like it.

Well still being in school (4 more weeks!), I have to wear the school scubs. I was in the Marine Corps a hundred years ago and still have the tattoos to as a reminder and so wear grey long sleeve shirts under my top. My bottoms are the school issued tie bottoms. Now...being I am in my 40's and no longer in the same shape i was 20+ years ago, my bottoms don't fit right. I liked the idea mentioned above of suspenders and wish i had thought of that about 2 years ago. Would have saved me many many moments of doing bedside care at clinicals and not realizing my bottoms had inched down to my knees. Worst was when walking to the nurses station to find my preceptor with most of the gals in my class behind me giggling as I settled the whole boxers or briefs debate with them

I look forward to a more liberal scub policy when i begin working as i have purchased pair of dark blue EMS bottoms with more pockets then I could ever need (like 3 front pockets from thigh to knee on each side).

TMI!! The pants they gave us in school were drawstring- but the string only went so far around and was then stapled to the pant waist. Nice suprise one night on clinicals at the old county home when the staple let go!! My wife brought a spare pair of pants to clinicals- met her out front with about 10 feet of 3" cloth tape holding my pants up under the top. Needless to say next day I bought 3 pairs of good old fashioned white scrub pants with REAL ties.

You men......lol, jk. Google Aviator scrubs. These scrubs are great, they have tons of pockets and cargo pockets for all your gear and have a belt. They are a little pricy, but buy one at a time, they are worth it!

If you need pockets and belts, then buy scrubs with pockets and belt loops.
