Any UCLA nurses, especially CT ICU?!?!

Published

Hey! I'm a new nurse working on a tele floor, and I just accepted a position for the CT ICU in the Feb. new grad program at UCLA. I live in SD now, so I'm gonna have to move, just wondering if anyone has any advice or if anyone else reading is going there? Thanks for your help!!!

Steph

I got my degree at UCLA and trained at the center. nice place.

Hey! They told me there was going to be four sessions for new hire paperwork, and they are listed on the pink paper we got at orientation. I think during the HR presentation, we actually signed up for one, and then there's a couple dates for new grad orientation- in feb and march. That's what I got. Anyone else?!?!

Hey ! thanks for the info, but Im a little confused. You had orientation already (did u mean the interview?)? I don't know if I remember a pink piece of paper. I also talked to Nursing Resource today and scheduled my New Hire Paperwork for Feb 6. I think she said there will be more dates offered in Feb just to fill out the New Grad Hire paperwork. I was also informed that the official start date will be Feb 9th.

Hey guys! Have you heard anything specific for next monday? I have all my appts for paperwork next week, so maybe they'll tell us then, but I just wanted to see if you heard anything, for some reason they had my email address wrong so I hadn't been getting their emails!
