Any Tips for Alameda Hospital New Grad Interview?

Hi, I am having my first hospital interview with Alameda Hospital in a week. I have been out of school for six months and still struggling to find a job in the bay area! Does anyone have any tips or suggestions? Anyone interview with them before?

Congratulations!! I took the pharm test yesterday. It was not challenging. About 20 questions. Review med calc, insulin precautions, and medical abbreviations.

Bud1987, I was able to complete the new hire paperwork as well as the drug screening. I am just waiting to hear back from AHS about the next step in the hiring process :) I am assuming that will be the pharmacology quiz. Thank you bud1987 for the heads up!! Really appreciated.

you will take the pharm test at your health screening and physical. I've finished all of the requirements and I'm waiting to hear back from HR as well.

Awesome thank you! I would consider this to be my first real nursing job. However, I do have a couple month of paid nursing experience working in a SNF.

Do you guys know if Alameda hospital has 8 hr shifts or 12 hr shifts?

I hope you all are doing well! I just spoke to HR and they confirmed that I will be starting on August 15, 2016. I am not sure if this goes for every one or just the CCU. HR did say they are wanting to do something special for all the new grads, so that lead me to assume that we all will be starting on August 15th.

How did every one do on the pharmacology test?

Hi, I got the same information from HR too. So I think all of us will start on the same day August 15. Did they send you an email for more information regarding that day? Like what time and where do we meet.
