Any Tips for Alameda Hospital New Grad Interview?

Published

Hi, I am having my first hospital interview with Alameda Hospital in a week. I have been out of school for six months and still struggling to find a job in the bay area! Does anyone have any tips or suggestions? Anyone interview with them before?

Thank you so much for your time and advice!

Hi there! Likewise, I also received a call earlier this week to come in for an interview. So glad I found this thread! I've been practicing Q&As, but I still don't feel prepared! Good luck to you! To us!

Wow, awesome to have found this thread, and your post. Thanks for sharing this info!

I know people who were invited for the ER and ICU interview. It was a panel of 5 or 6, and each take turns asking you a question. Mostly behavioral questions with 1 clinical scenario.

Why do you want to work for highland

why do you want to work for this unit

what kind of people do you have trouble working with

what kind of people have trouble working with you

asthma scenario

if you do "well" they will invite you to second round of interviews. I heard they interviewed about 100 this cycle, and will hire 5. Good luck

Do you know how long the highland new grad interview took? Was it 30 mins? Thanks!

I'm not sure! I don't remember how long my interview was bc of all the excitement and nerves. Wish I could have been more helpful!

Do you know how many questions were asked? Behavioral? Clinical Scenario? Thanks!

Just curious! Has anyone received a job offer from Alameda this month?

Hello, I am a travel nurse starting at Alameda Hospital the end of this month. Just curious to how the hospital and patient population is and what the area is like in terms of crime. I know the hospital is going through a lot of changes and supposed to be upgrading their equipment and rooms. Thanks in advanced.
