Any TCC - Tarrant County College Spring 2020 hopefuls?

I know I am super early - but is anyone else hoping to apply to the Spring 2020 class? How are things going?

I am taking the first pre-req now - A&P I. I will take A&P II and micro in the summer. It's going to be a crazy six months but I am determined to get all three pre-reqs done by the August 31 deadline. Nursing will be a second career for me and I am ready to jump into this, like now.

I love science and I love people. I am always "diagnosing" family members around me the moment I hear them sniffle ?

I also just registered for the HESI! The new exam dates were listed on the TCC website today.

TCC starting this next semester has a BSN program you can take concurrently with the nursing program through MSU. you will still have a few classes left to take when you graduate but you will almost be done. If you get in they will email you the info to apply to MSU if it is something you want to do. Thought I would share.

Thank you! I remember getting an email on this. I definitely plan on getting my BSN after graduating from TCC. I've only looked at details for UTA so far.

How is everyone's progress going? I have one more week of micro and lifespan, then I am DONE with all the gen ed classes and the required pre-reqs.

Ive already started studying for my HESI retake by using the pocket prep app this time. My highest score was math with a 94%, Reading comp 92% followed by vocabulary and Grammar 84% and 82%. The Hesi review book helped a-lot with the math but I feel it didn't cover vocab and grammar well. Ive been told that the Pocket Prep App was a saving grace so I will solely use it to study for the non math sections. However if you have any tips for vocab and grammar sections please share them!

Ive also registered for AP2 for the Fall semester and when admitted I will just drop the course. Good luck to everyone!

We are very similar in scores! I finished up with

AP 1- A

AP2 - B

Micro - A

HESI - 92.5

My highest was math - 96. Lowest, reading - 88 ?

Oh we do! Fingers crossed that we both get in! My math was my highest again too! Math 98, Vocab 98, Reading 94, Grammar 84...I have no idea why I cant get my Grammar up lol. Have you turned in your application?

Yes. Did you turn yours in? I turned my app in last week. The lady in the office reviewed it right then and there, and I received a confirmation a few days ago.

I need September to go by quickly!

What did the confirmation email say? I turned my application in a few weeks ago and never got a confirmation email.

It said that my Spring 2020 nursing application had been received and processed, that no further information was needed, and to check emails the end of September / early October for notification.

This was sent to my TCC email addy.

Yes!!!! It will be like a month and one week!! ?

I am taking intro to chem, contemporary math, speech, and sociology right now. Hopefully being busy from those classes will help with my anxiety of waiting for answer lol
