Any TCC - Tarrant County College Spring 2020 hopefuls?

I know I am super early - but is anyone else hoping to apply to the Spring 2020 class? How are things going?

I am taking the first pre-req now - A&P I. I will take A&P II and micro in the summer. It's going to be a crazy six months but I am determined to get all three pre-reqs done by the August 31 deadline. Nursing will be a second career for me and I am ready to jump into this, like now.

I love science and I love people. I am always "diagnosing" family members around me the moment I hear them sniffle ?

I also just registered for the HESI! The new exam dates were listed on the TCC website today.

Yes! I am taking a full load of classes for the same reason, lol. I am taking Math 1332, sociology, English 1302, and History this semester. These classes also apply towards the BSN, so it's good to get them out the way now before we are busy with the nursing classes. Trying to think positively, here

That’s exactly what I am doing as well. Taking all these classes to bridge from RN to BSN with UTA later. I asked the lady how many people have applied already for spring 2020 and she said around 400 applicants already. With two Bs I am very nervous.

400! Woooooow. And there are still three days left to get apps in. Crazy!

I have read a few of the 2019 threads in here and definitely saw people with two Bs getting in with high HESI scores. I know it depends on the applicant pool, but I think you've got good chances. 96 is amazing!

Closing date has been 2 business days. How is everyone doing? I’ve been busy with school and moving but I am still so anxious about the application! Seem so quiet in here. Maybe there are not many applicants like the lady have told me, maybe she was just trying to scared me lol ??????Hopefully there’s not many applicants and we all get accepted!

There is a Facebook group for the TCC spring 2020 applicants. Just search for “Tarrant County College Nursing Spring 2020” so you can be added to the group. Good luck!

I am in the FB group too! But I want to keep this thread up just so future applicants can stalk us. lol

I am hanging in there. Word is that the last group got notified of acceptance just 10 days post closing. Today is day 10 technically. I am trying not to get excited at every new TCC email notification, but it's happening already.?

LOL Exactly how I am feeling with the TCC email notification! This is the only threat I have found for spring 2020 on here, so please keep it for the future applicants. I have been obsessed with reading all the old threads from fall 2019 and spring 2019. I am sure there is a lot of people like myself would greatly appreciate this threat you've created.

So it looks like they send out emails about 2 weeks after closing date for fall 2019. So I hope by this Friday or next Monday we would hear from them 8*crossing fingers**

I have been thinking the stacks of applications the lady showed me when I asked her how many applicants have applied so far, it looked to be about 12-14 inches and I have been doing my math based on that stack of papers (with about 4-8 pages per person plus the staple) it does look like there's more than 400 applicants. That is how crazy I am now!! I supposed to study for my Chem exam but I keep going through old threats to read everybody's stats to see how much chance I get!

Coming back to say I was accepted! Found out a week before we were suppose to be notified. This was the last semester for our requirements but I hope everything posted helps future students!
