Any swboces LPN students for 2016

hey I was hoping to get conversation going about the upcoming swboces 2016 LPN program for people that are eitheir applying, been accepted, even past students.... I feel this will keep us all together on program information. I have seen it done for previous years but I can't seem to link with anyone about the 2016 program...I was accepted into the program for this year, looking forward to starting.

I dropped off my stuff today and they said nothing about a list. The last time I was there, they said to expect it early August. I called and they said the same thing.

Good evening everyone!

I just wanted to share a book/study guide that was recommended by my friend who is a Boces graduate of 2015. It has a lot of helpful information about test taking and critical thinking (keywords,questions with answers and rationals). So since we haven't received a book list I figured I get started on some reading that has been helpful to me and hopefully for you guys as well. The namr/title of the book:

Also, does anyone know the schedule? Do we get spring break and xmas break?

I printed a copy of the school calendar for 2016-2017

And we have Xmas break from the 26-30th (winter break)

Winter recess- Feb 20-24th

Springs recess- April 10-14th

By the way I heard that there was a prep class starting on August 15th and we should get info in the mail about it.... I believe the cost is $200, and it's two weeks long....did any of you hear about it ?
