I feel this will keep us all together on program information. I have seen it done for previous years but I can't seem to link with anyone about the 2016 program...I was accepted into the program for this year, looking forward to starting.

Yes I got a flyer in the mail a while ago. I was speaking to a friend and she said it was a waste of time and money. She told me just to study medical terminology and I should be fine.

Oh okay....yea I've been studying medical terminology n a &p....I also listened to a few fundamentals lectures that's posted on YouTube..I mean it's great that they offer the prep course though...it's good to see a school be resourceful

I need to get it together with medical terminology. I've studied a little, but I need to study more.

Yea I feel the same ...I boroughed a nclex-pn study guide and the back has a section in the back with medical terminology and a section with nursing terminology...I figured I learn the terms from the actual test study guide and also analyze exactly how they use it in test format at the same time...oh and I dropped off my things at the school and no word on the booklist, but I'm sure everything's on its way the start day is approaching soon.

Yea I bought an inexpensive medical terminology. Book from Amazon, and it breaks down the words really well. Like into roots and all that stuff. I just feel like I won't be prepared enough. And I can't afford the prep class .

You will be fine...all we can do is study some medical terminology and a&p stuff before the program, but the real meat of it wont be until we are actually in the courses and have the textbooks to study from...anything you go over before the program is a great prep...just don't fall behind once youre in.

You're right.. I'm already nervous lol.

I meant the students.

Yes, me too! I think I'm more nervous for clinicals. Do you have any idea what the class size is?

Me to...I have no idea what the class size would be..I was thinking about that to and I figured the whole day program couldn't all be one big class, so I wonder how they will divide us up and rotate us in the classes throughout.

I feel like they're somewhat small. I remember them saying it at the information session but I completely forgot. I also hope I'm not the youngest in the class. I doubt I will be, but I really hope not. I also hope I get s good site for clinicals.
