Hi all! My name is Josh I am a RN working toward my BSN at Western Governors University. For one of my classes, I am supposed to ask nurses in a variety of settings to answer some questions about their specialties. If you have ever worked in one of the following, could you fill out the attached form and email it back to me at [email protected]?
education (staff development)
administration
clinical specialist (NP, FNP, CRNA, CNS)
staff
research (nursing research, wound care).
Thank you all so much for your help. The interview is only 12 questions and it would help me out sooo much! I really appreciate it!

Good Luck!
I had to do that assingment last winter, I hope the questions improved some because they are lengthy.
I wasn't able to get anyone from allnurse and I had a hard time getting people I worked with because they felt it was more like a homework assingment for them.

I would fill out the questions but I am not sure if I qualify. I am a charge nurse in a rural critical access hospital. I don't have any nurses working under me, it's just me and the cna.
Good Luck with the assignment!
froggyRN -- I definitely think you qualify! Working as a charge in a critical access hospital is a specialty in itself!

I'm always willing to fill out surveys for fellow nurses, but after I looked at these questions no way. It's not just 12 questions, these are time consuming to say the least. Your instructors neeed to come up with something else if they want participation. It's like someone else doing your homework for you. Sorry. I highly suggest you pass this on to your instructors.

what is meant by staff RN?? we are all technically "staff" do you mean an RN like in a hospital floor?
I can fill it out for Staff RN, i just opened the document and i think that would mean me (Staff RN with BSN) i'lll be sending it to you.
Nursequilter -- You are correct about this. Hence my plea from all of you on allnurses. I work in a small rural area with no local NP and few specialty RN's. I'm in a rough situation but oh well. I will keep asking around!
Jenni811 -- "Staff nurse" is a working nurse that accepts care for patients on any unit or floor from what I understand. And I REALLY appreciate it Makes it tough for us country folk to get much done when you only have 500 people in your town
