I have been trying to do my research now that I will be finishing my associates this year. I want to do my BSN online, as I want something flexible and am hoping to relocate at some point. It's really important to me to go to a reputable school, but I am trying to find one that's a little more affordable and hopefully doesn't require a million and one additional gen eds. I have seen UW-Greenbay, Kent State (both around $400 per credit hour), and University of Wyoming (cheap, but lots of prereques and more than average nursing courses). Anyone know of any others?
Thanks in advance

I am in the same situation. I am applying to Utica College, NY. It is a "brick & mortar" college with a good nursing program, fully accredited. The RN-BSN is all online and costs about the same as a NY State University school (in state). You may want to check it out.

Too be honest with you...it really doesn't matter where you go for your RN-BSN.

I'm doing Penn State's online RN to BSN. It's $481 a credit, and they took all of my ASN classes as transfers. You can also go to your local community college at the same time and transfer in your gen eds. You may want to go to a reputable school if you're interested in attending a competitive grad school.

I have done my research and looked at hundreds of rn-bsn programs. The best one for me that I found is UT of Arlington Texas. I just got accepted and will start at the end of this month. It's $6450 for the whole program regardless whether you are in-state or live out of state. The prereq's are not that bad either and its affordable. Good Luck! Check it out.
I like University of Wyoming but it would take forever to complete the program. More like two years.

I was looking in to UT Arlington, was the curriculum pretty straight forward?? Were there exams are just research papers???
Honestly, it looks like it's straight forward, but since I haven't started the program yet I really don't know.

I did University of Wyoming and completed it in a year. It depends on how much of the workload you can handle.
