I'll be ending nursing school this summer ! I know this thread doesn't apply to me but I'm just way too excited. This summer I'm taking my last course for the LPN program. Its an eight week course, 5 credits and it ends in July ! Pinning is July 22 !!! Just can't wait.
I plan on returing back for my RN, however getting my LPN is such a huge stepping stone !
Anyway, Good luck to all who is starting NS this summer... I started NS fall of 08 and let me tell you, I love nursing school !!!! Working full time while in NS is no fun, however nursing school itself is kinda ok.
Just stay on top of your readings, study, relax, study and did I mention study ??? Time also flies !
Good luck to all of you :) Yay for class of 2010
I start classes May 11, and it will be four days a week. We only have clinicals 3 weeks at an LTC facility the first term which I am bumbed about, I thought we would get more on hands training at an actual facility this term. On Fridays and Sundays the school opens the lab for us to practice if we would like. I am just ready to dive right in, then again I wonder how are we supposed to learn all of the information with so many books to study from:banghead: !
Hello, I am starting on May 11th and I am so excited. Finally a break somewhere. (Even though I will be paying through the nose) I live in Michigan and it is so hard trying to get into a RN program, so I am taking a different approach to the main goal. I am starting with an LPN program at Everest Institue in Southfield then I am going to finish my rn online maybe or at a cc with a lpn to rn completion program (if I can get in). Good luck to all of you!
I start class on Monday, just went through 2 days of orientation. 4 days a week this summer, 19 credit hours for an Accelerated BSN. Nervous, scared and excited all at the same time.
