Hello everyone. Please share your NCLEX test-taking experience and NCLEX study tips. Thanks and have a nice day!
I used.. Exam Cram by Pearson Education..and also NCLEX 3500 online...Study as much prioritizing as possible...my test was mostly that and SATA (select all that apply)...the nclex is nothing like any of the classroom test...this test is mostly critical thinking and using your "nursing judgement"....best luck...you can do it....
I found out that I passed my NCLEX rn exam. I studied Davis Q&A 2010. It has the new applied testing stuff that started in April. This book is awesome, that is all I studied. It had plenty of select all which some what prepared me. Stay calm, breath, relax, and go with ur first instinct. Believe in your self and stay positive!! The day before the test try to do things you enjoy and away from your study material. It worked for me.. Good luck!!
I studied ATI, NCSBN and NCLEX 3000. NCSBN is not expensive; NCLEX 300 is free

During my last semester of nursing school I completed the LaCharity Delegation and Prioritization book. Since then, I used NCSBN as a content review and completed their modules and used the Saunders CD to take practice tests over and over again. The night before the test I went over some of the alternative format questions and the morning of the test I wrote down what I thought were the most important things to remember for testing strategies and pulled them out and read them while I was waiting to take the exam. (I woke up at 6:30 that morning and didn't take the test until 2:30 PM). The most important thing was to relax in the room. It's hard and your heart is pounding, but don't get caught up in that emotion or you will psych yourself out. Good luck!

I think it does, because some books have vague information, some have detailed, but it's up to you to decide, to each his own.
