I will be submitting my application in the next couple of days to get into the nursing program at the local University. Just wanted to see if anyone else is doing the same so we can wait out our "acceptance" letters together.
Hey everyone! I am so happy to finally be waiting on acceptance/rejection letters. I have one app in, and I'll turn in 4 others this month and next. I just took the TEAS V today and it was awful. But 4 out of the 5 schools just want you to pass, so I hope I do. I am excited to hear how it turns out for everyone. Good luck.
I just did today at my college for ADN program. After being denied from one college earlier this year. I cried and went on to plan B. Thank God, cause only studied for 3 weeks for the Teas and passed. He was with me. Now I wait but I decided to finish the rest of the requirement for 2 other schools for BSN. You never know. Blessing to all that are waiting.
I am horrible at writing, it's been years since I took composition courses. I just hope I can get my essay done this week so I can cross my fingers and wait:)
I'm not even sure if I will be completing the application for the two schools that I was going to take the TEAS for but after all the studying and stressing over it I still want to take the TEAS to see how I do. Is that weird or what? Oh well after I take it I'll at least be able to post on the TEAS fourm on allnurses and share how it was;)
A little worried...finally got confirmation that my application is "complete" but haven’t heard anything yet regarding interview and essay scheduling dates, and those are supposed to be happening THIS month. So I am now terrified that somehow my name got missed on the mailing list, and I won’t get an interview and essay time assigned to me and won’t be considered for the Fall intake. I am now semi stalking the people at admissions...I have called three different offices (admission and records, School of Health sciences, and The Nursing Faculty) and received non comforting dissatisfying answers from all...I have now gotten more specific and sent out several emails to the people in charge of the actually program and dealing with admissions (skipping past the front office people who are VERY well meaning, but more often than not have no useful information) Haven’t received any responses yet(!!!) but I only sent these emails like 2 hours ago so I am trying to give my patience level some much needed exercise.

I am with you as well. I dropped off my application couple weeks ago for Fall 2012 admission. We get 200 applicants and 50 spots filled. I have all the prereqs done with 4.0 GPA, and supporting classes, overall 3.8 GPA and did very well on my PSB test. I think I did all I could have. Every time I think about it I get sick to my stomach. I should find out late February early March. I hate waiting! Good Luck everyone!
