I have been a nurse for 7. I am going back for my BSN and I have a question I need to ask someone who has been a nurse for 40+ years. The most I can find is 35. Here is the Question
How have you seen nursing change in regards to ethical decision-maiking in clinical practice?
Any responses would be greatly appreciated

And you think nurses make it for 40 years...I won't. But in regards to your question think about what we have now that we didn't earlier, such as stem cell research, cloning, meds and equipment to keep you alive while you waste away in a nursing home rotting from the inside out, homosexual partners having decision making rights, etc., etc..

I have a coworker who has been nursing for >40 yrs. I'll pass this along to her when I can get with her.
