I plan on buying shoes for school soon, can anyone tell me their experience with Nurse mate shoes. Are they comfortable (after a long day?)? Any input...please!

They don't work for me.
I like Cobbie Cuddlers from K-Mart and cheap plastic clogs from the drug store or dep't store.

I have one pair of Nursemates that I have had for at least 15 years - they feel so good that I can't part with them. I have another pair that I could never get broken in and they hurt my feet/legs after 15 minutes.
I wear solid white New Balance tennis shoes that I alternate with the other pair.
You just have to try them out.

I tried every nursing shoe available, including Nurse Mates, while in school and never found a comfortable pair until I graduated and was allowed to wear athletic shoes. I wore those for years until Hubs bought a pair of SAS shoes for his work and told me how good they feel. I got a white pair of SAS for myself and have used those for work ever since.

Personally Nurse Mates don't fit my short, fat feet. They hurt. I'm wearing Crocs right now and love 'em.

I have a pair of slip on nursemate shoes and I will never buy any other. I just bought shoe whitener and keep on whitening them. When they are no longer able to be cleaned up, I will definitely buy another pair.

I wore one pair for 15mnths doing a full time rotation and my feet were never sore after a shift. I found them very lite , durable and comfortable. I would recomend these shoes to anyone. Hope this helps. Tina

I have a pair of nursemates and after 10 hours of clinical my back, nor feet really hurt. I once wore my nike shox and was complaining mid-day because my back hurt so bad. I love my nursemates. It feels like I'm walking on air.
That sounded like a plug.

I have them, and someone gave them to me and honestly, I hate them...I would be on my feet for 4 hours and be in really bad pain...but give me my fake crocs from payless and I love them. I can be on my feet for 12 hours and be fine.......we'll see.

I love 'em, but only the athletic style (tie shoes, not the slip ons)--I have two pairs I've had for years and the ones I wore last noc have gottten a crack through the sole, so I'll have to part with them :-(
