Any news from Ohlone yet?

I have read from some previous posts in prior years that the lottery is completed just days after the application deadline. I was actually expecting an e-mail yesterday (Friday) because it seems like results have always gone out then. Has anyone recieved an e-mail?

I wonder if alternates are being notified, and if we will see the entire list soon. I getting nervous...

I received an acceptance email from Ohlone this afternoon. I also received a letter from Chabot saying that I am "Provisionally accepted". I won't hear back from Chabot if I'm on the final list or not until May 15th or so. If I get accepted to Chabot as well I don't know which school to go to. I live in Hayward but it Ohlone is a better program I will go there. Any body have any thoughts what I should do?

I believe Ohlone has the better program. I would choose Ohlone.

Does anyone know if the list has been posted on campus? It has yet to hit the website.

Has anyone else NOT heard from Ohlone yet? Is it safe (and unfortunate) to assume at this point, based on the fact that people have received emails, that they have notified those accepted and perhaps that's it (???)

I just got an acceptance email for the Spring! I would give it another day. Alternates may be notified next.

I haven't heard anything either... Ohlone was one of the several colleges I applied for this fall. I wish they just posted the lottery results for us to check instead of making us wait for the email!

I guess alternates will be alerted via e-mail today. I am just dying to know if I made at least the waiting list. And I wanna see the list too!

According to the website, "Students accepted for the Fall semester will be notified by May. Those students who are accepted for the Spring semester will be notified by the end of September." Therefore it seems quite possible that alternates may not be notified at all...It looks like we (and at this point I include myself, having had no email) will just have to wait until they decide to post the list.
