Any Michiganders take the HESI recently? (the prenursing school one)

I have heard that the vocabulary portion of the HESI is rather difficult because the terms you need to know aren't in the study guide. Is there anyone with advice on how to prep for that portion of the test? TIA !

I took the test today and got 91.31, any educated indivedual should be able to do well on this exam nothing hard, all basic English and Math. My sister freaked me out, as she told me it was very hard. Anyhow hope we all get into the program. Everyone thanks for the help.

Good job! Have you taken microbiology yet? I need to get that class taken care of either during summer session or this fall.

Good Job you too!! Yes, I had Microbiology just this fall, I took it at OCC, with Giangrande; he is a great teacher. I am going to take a lot of Chemistry classes this winter and summer, as I have plans for PA and Pharmacy too. anyhow good luck I hope we get into the nursing program and I hope to see you there.

I took the Hesi in Dec. I scored 93.87 on mine and I have a 4.0. I am hoping that will be good enough to get me in the program. I am already obsessing about it. I want to know NOW! lol. I am taking chem and micro this semester to give me something to focus on while I wait. April seems so far away.....the wait is not going to be easy. Good luck to all.

Which Micro class are you in? I am taking micro M-W 7-10pm at the Center campus.

I took the NET test and did great on every section overall. Has anyone taken both tests and compared differences. In the next few months I hope to be applying to MCC's nursing program and want to knw what to expect. If it wasnt all that good of an experience I dont wanna knw lol I'm tryna stay encouraged lol

Hi could you tell me what type of grammar and vocab is on the entrance hesi test? Mostly medical vocab? Thanks!

I take my hesi test may 24th. I have already taken the teas exam for Ivy tech but do not wish to remain in school for 2 years on the waiting list to get in. So i am transfering.How different are the test and are there any web sites that offer practice test for the hesi? I tried www.testprepreview.com but only had teas test on it.
