Any Miami Dade College students going for the acceler. or Generic option fall 2009?

I am currently at Miami Dade College fulfilling prerequisites in order to apply for the Nursing program that starts fall 2009. I'd like to be in touch with other career changers who after getting a bachelor's in a non-nursing field decided to pursue the program at Miami Dade College.

Guys, stay calm. I know that the wait drives you crazy. I've been there. But please stay calm, just know that anytime now we will received something in the mail. I hope, and only hope that you guys get in.

OMG i leave for a few minutes and you guys have nervous breakdowns LOL

but this is like the new Facebook for me I check it every 5 minutes ....................................hoping someone else got a letter .................I am still sick to my stomach. I think somethings going on with my heart it's trying to climb out of my body :)

Would be nice if they put something on our degree audit. That would give us a hint ............huh?

I just call the medical campus again I said please I am going crazy can you at least tell me the cut GPA and she told me 3.5 just that. I hope she is telling the Truth.

I believe it! Cause that's what I was told in person and posted about it a day b4 peeps got letters.

I'm guessing that the highest GPAs 3.80-4.00 got mailed 1st on Monday. I only say that cause I got letter yesterday and my GPA is 3.95 and others in that range are the only ones reporting back that they have received it. Plus, I have some friends in the 3.65 range that did not get letter yet.

In conclusion, I would say if you have 3.5 GPA and higher: RELAX your in!

Have patience and keep busy doing something and the good news will come to you in form of yellow envelope.

Also, remember the 3.5 cut-off could go even lower after empty spots will begin to pop up soon after.

oh no I have been checking that every day since May 02 :D nothing, u kow they dont even email anything... I called MDC and was transfered to a lady that would know the cut off and i was sent directly to voice mail spoke to the receptionist again and asked her when the lady with the information would be in her office... she said "she is in her office" he he he they arn't even answering the phones wow it must suck to be them right now:nuke:
