Does anyone know of any hospitals offering a stipend/fellows type program where the hospital sponsors you in the program, pays tuition, books, etc but then you agree to work for them for a designated amount of time?
Any help would be appreciated!!

There's a teaching hospital in Lubbock, Texas that will employ you while you work during school and after for such an agreement. I forget the name of the place but it shouldn't be too hard to find; Lubbock is a small town.

US Dept of Health and Human Services offers this
Nursing Education Loan Repayment Program, that you can work off nursing school funding
by working in facilities;

I don't know of any program in Kansas that offers tuition in exchange for work promise.
There are many hospitals/facilites with tuition reimbursement, or tuition assistance.
You should check with Financial Aid of the school where you're interested in attending.
Hope this helps.

Check out Research College of Nursing. It is affiliated with HCA Midwest hospitals.

Hays Medical offers one. But you have to be in either the Tech school or enrolled at Fort Hays

Not sure where in KS you are, but, I know Heartland Health in St. Joseph, MO has this type of assistance.
