I am a RN, want to get a Bachelor's in nursing. I wonder if any hospitals in the area (Dallas) offer tuition assist. Thank you!

Baylor Hospital offers tuition reimbursement. Although the Baylor health system pays poorly, they have a reputation as a good place to work.
Texas Health Resources is another major hospital system in the Dallas area that offers tuition reimbursement in exchange for a certain number of years of service.
Thank you for your suggestions. I will check Baylor out. But I only want to live in Frisco are. Probably too far to go to work at Balylor. Thank you.

Denton Regional, and any HCA hospital for that matter, have tuition rem. if you have been there for a year, without contracts. Also, if you already have an AND, they have a program worked out with UTA to get your BSN online. Cost about $5K and takes 2 semesters I think. Plus they will reimburse you for it. Look at Medical Center of Plano. They are HCA.

Could you please clarify. How can poor pay and good place to work be used in same sentence?

Well just because the hosp. does not pay well, does not mean that it is not a good place to wprk. I mean the units can have good team work, the
management can treat their employees well. Alot of things can make a hosp good to work for adn not get paid well. The hospital can actually care about the pt and not the dollar
Well this just my opinion

Pleasant working environment, supportive coworkers, advancement opportunities, fair management, competitive benefits, low employee turnover rates, and flexibility are all good aspects of working at a place that might not offer the highest pay.
