I am very intrested and on the process of applying to University of phoenix's MS FNP program. I am just curious if there are any graduate student or current student here that can tell me how the program went, would you reccommend?, key points to be admitted in the said program. Any feedback would be very helpful. Thank you.

Hope someone can share a little insight on UOPX...specially those that graduated from the program.

Tnx

Can't speak for the school specific questions, but if you want anyone to take you serious as a professional and provider, I'd change my attention elsewhere. You will struggle to find clinicals and I imagine gainful employment with this educational background.

Is Phoenix your only option? No state schools or anything?

While UoP has been continually accredited since it opened, they were put on notice by accreditation authorities in 2013 and their reputation in the medical field has suffered as a result. If you have other options for education, you should pursue them if possible, but if it's your only option, best wishes for a successful career.

For the record and despite it's "accreditation", it has always been the laughing stock of most higher education. It literally set the standard of modern pay-for-degrees. I'd even go so far as to recommend Walden over it and that says a lot. In this day in age, there are lots of options for legitimate universities offering distance options that more than meet most people's requirements in standards and scholastic interaction.

I contacted UoP recently and specifically asked if they would help students find preceptors after 2019 (per new accreditation guidelines). The enrollment advisor flat out told me no...it's the students responsibility to find preceptors. I don't expect them to be accredited in the future.
