Hi everybody-
Anyone out there graduate from Lehman's RN-BSN program? I am a soon to be QCC grad and I'm considering Lehman and would love to hear something good about this program!
People usually bash CUNY but I've had a great experience (it's not cushy but it's quality!).
Also what difference has having the BSN made? And was the RN-BSN as overwhelming as the A.A.S. program?
Looking forward to any responses--
Thanks!

Hi Amy,
I was wondering how has your experience been at Lehman for the RN-BSN? I am planning to apply there as well.
how's the cost? the length? the quality?
are you done? and is it hard to look for work after? Any advise would be much appreciated! thanks!

I am at Lehman now, RN to BSN, and I love it, so far the Professors are great very helpful, the classes are reasonable, most of the nursing classes are on line, of course it is CUNY so dealing with financial aid, the registar etc are the usual CUNY nightmare.
Is it possible to attend in the evenings. And what are the clinical requirements
Yes there are classes at night, most of the rn to bsn classes are online the few that are not are at night, the liberal art requirements can be done at night , day , weekends or on line. There are no clinical requirements, you have a physical assessment class, that I love, that has a LAB requirement, and another class witha lab requirement.

How many months is the program?
Full time you can do it in 4 semesters
Thanks for your reply, mb1949. 4 semesters meaning 2 years???? Wow. I'm a CUNY grad so I'm sure nursing isn't offered in the summer, correct? 2 years is a bit long for me at the moment. Best of luck to you with this program!

Hi I am interested in joining CUNY lehman as well.
But I am an international nurse; so I hope I need to meet the prerequisite at first.
So what do you all suggest me about the prerequisites? I did not find clear information about the prerequisites and moreover the campus is not replying effectively.
Please help me out.
Yes they do have nursing classes during the summer and the winter intersession, so if you go straight throuhg you could do it faster, don;t forget though they only give you sixty undergrad credits and so you have to do the 37,5 nursing credits plus like 23 liberal arts credits, and the nursing course are intense
the prerequisites are your RN degree you would really need to speak to the nursing department if you degree is from a US college you will get 60 credits otherwise I don;t know
