Any Feb 2012 NCLEX takers

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hi everyone. I just wanted to know where are all my February test takers. I am taking the NCLEX RN for the 2nd time on Feb. 16th. The first time I got all 265 questions, I used Exam Cram RN and just a little bit of Saunders. This time around I am using NCSBN 3 week course (which I already finished), Saunders, LaCharity, and the free Kaplan online. :banghead: Do you think I am doing to much? I want to know what are you doing. So where are all my February test takers and what states are you in? I am in Virginia.

Well... It turns out that ATI helped me well, along with well.... Nursing School. I passed. I passed. I passed!! I took the NCLEX-RN yesterday and I had my license up on the BON site today.

My two biggest suggestions for NCLEX:

READ EACH QUESTION CAREFULLY - Make sure you understand what the question is asking

and..

Take advantage of as many practice questions (with rationales) that you can. ATI had many.. and I think their questions were harder than many of the ones I got on NCLEX, so I wasn't in bad shape when it came to the real thing (Kaplan too was helpful - got their book, did not take a class, and I felt okay).

Best of luck to all the other February test-takers. Rock it!

All the best,

RDay4Peds, BSN, RN!!!

Hello !

I will be taking my NCLEX on Feb 9th, yes...5 days away!! I took the Kaplan course in person, and honestly I'm sticking with Kaplan. I have been doing about 150 questions each day for the past week and completed all question trainers in which I have improved on a lot. I score usually in the 60s and 70s. My roommate took the Nclex, was an average student, studied 4 days before the test with only the Saunders book, no review, and she passed in 80 questions. People who i graduatd with have also already passed. Hoesntly I think everyone is different, so do what works for you. Try not to overwhelm yourself and just stay positive and confident! Thats what I am trying to do. I wish you the best luck!! We can do this!!!!

I test 2/9 as well ! trying not to allow the anxiety go up ! do well everyone !

Good luck to us all, Feb is going to be a great month for us.

Hey everyone! came back for an update... I PASSED THE NCLEX!!!!!! with 75 Qs! honestly i felt awful after the test. I was convinced I failed, I really was. I have a twin sister who also took it the same day , had 75 questions too, and felt the same way. I had felt that nothing I studied mattered because I felt I knew nothing. I prayed everyday and so did so many people, which I am so fortunate about! I knew I did everything I could and that it was in God's hands. After 2 gruelingggggg days, I found out this AM I passed along with my sister! I truly am so shocked! I just wanna let everyone know that you can do it! Even if u feel as aweful as I did after the test because that is a normal reaction! I believe in you guys! Good luck!!!

No other testers in Feb or March?

Iam aiming for march, hopefully OR end of this month, not scheduled yet....called the board of nursing they told me they have received all my information now iam waiting on my ATT, i will call them Monday again, i feel if i set the date, i will be more pressured to study harder. i am using a bit of everything this time, whatever information i feel has something i can learn iam using. i know they say to stick to one....but that's easier said than done. :)....yours coming up sooner are you ready ?

I take mine on the 16th too!!

I take mine on the 16th too!!

WOOO HOOO We are going to pass.

I certainly hope so! We've worked our butts off to get this far!!

I'm taking mine Feb 14th (yes, Valentine's day!). I have been using Saunders Comprehensive Review and LaCharity. I may do some Saunders Q&A if I have time. I'm confident that I will be ready, my school has a 95% first time pass rate. :)

GOOD LUCK!

Congratulations
