Hey there! I'm looking for some suggestions to do a paper on.
It's going to be on a nurse that has received recognition by the nursing profession based on identified accomplishments in nursing-- and the have to be alive.
My headings will include education, credentials, accomplishments, and what their impact had on nursing.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

Get a good textbook for a nursing theory class. There are many famous nursing theorists alive who would probably be discussed in such a book. Such books would include all the information you are looking for. Many of the theorists also have websites devoted to their work that would include a lot of useful information about their lives and careers. One of the best books for biographical information about the theorists is: Nursing Theorists and Their Work.

Patricia Benner, theorized the "Novice to Expert" theory, which explains how nurses go from novice to expert. Its pretty interesting actually.
Anyway, from the looks of her bio on the UCSF website, she is quite a busy woman!
