Any Fall 2017 Phillips School of Nursing at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Students?!

Published

Hello! I've been accepted into PSON AAS Program beginning Fall 2017 and its odd not to find any of my fellow classmates on this site :unsure:It would be nice to get familiar with one another before the program begins & update one another on how we are coming along in preparation of the program. Maybe even share some information from other threads as far as increasing our success in the program! The competition is finally over and we are officially a family Well, hope everyone enjoys their day and I'm excited to hear from my soon to be fellow classmates! Congratulations

also what program are you in this semester? I haven't seen anything posted on moodle for the AAS program

Where did you see the clinical sites and syllabus info posted? Orientation was okay, ready to get started!

I am in the AAS program, and on Moodle, if you enroll in the nsg 101 course you will see a few documents posted. One document is entitled "N101 Course Syllabus and Readings Fall 2017" and "N101 Clinical Schedule Fall 2017". You will also see powerpoints for chapters 1, 4, and 5 from the fundamentals textbook!

Hi Everyone, I'm currently taking pre-reqs at CUNY and I'm planning to get into MS next fall. My current GPA for the pre-reqs is 3.67. I'm currently taking BIO1 and BIO two in the summer along with Nutrition and Bioethics. I've heard the program is very competitive. Can someone please be so kind and shed some light on the admission process? thanks

Can anyone tell me what books they used to prepare for the Hesi? Was the exam hard? I want to see if i can apply for the Spring 2018 but its maybe too late😔

Thanks for replying!

So, hows your experience at the school? Im applying in the fall and since its so new, theres not much literature about it yet. Is it true there are a portion of online classes?

Are you applying for the AAS program specifically?

I dont take any online courses and it wasnt an option however, i believe the Bioethics course is hybrid. My classes for Spring are not online either.

No I am interested in their ABSN program!

I did see the tuition for 2019 is about $71,000, though...up a bit from the current $51,000 advertised!
