Hello! I've been accepted into PSON AAS Program beginning Fall 2017 and its odd not to find any of my fellow classmates on this site :unsure:It would be nice to get familiar with one another before the program begins & update one another on how we are coming along in preparation of the program. Maybe even share some information from other threads as far as increasing our success in the program! The competition is finally over and we are officially a family Well, hope everyone enjoys their day and I'm excited to hear from my soon to be fellow classmates! Congratulations

I'll be in the AAS program this fall too! I am a bit concerned about financial aid... I have emailed several times asking about more info but haven't heard anything back. Has anyone heard about how much they will receive from fasfa? This is my 2nd Bachelors as well.

Nope, haven't heard anything yet.... maybe later on in the week? we only have 2 weeks or so left, you would think they would have this done by now. Congrats on starting! Glad to know i'm not the only 2nd degree student who went the AAS route!

I received an award summary which wasn't a guarantee but it was basically an idea of how much I'd receive. I received this email on July 27th. And another student received there's the very next day. I contacted the program manager of Financial Aid (JL) for some details regarding the email i received. Did you all complete FASFA Application? If so when? Were you sure to include the school in the application? I'd contact her if anything. Or check your email for "award" it wasn't from a mount Sinai email address oddly. The email also included possible loans I'd be eligible for.

Hmmm, I'll definitely have to email them, I completed FAFSA back in April! so will definitely have to contact the school again.

Yes. I competed around April as well I believe. Give them a call!

I emailed them and received the award letter that way... I truly hope it's only a estimate of potential loans, it was not a very attractive award letter to say the least.

I spoke to the financial aid manager and she told me they were only estimates. She also instructed me to submit the loan counseling and Master promissary which she emailed me the links for. She's really nice so I'm sure she will be willing to address any of your concerns.

I spoke with her and was able to get a better handle on things! I had to complete the MPN and loan counseling module as well. By any chance, does anyone know cost per credit? the school hasn't updated their tuition chart. Hopefully everyone's summer is going well so far! I'm wondering what will be covered during orientation.

My summers going well. One more week of this online Phil course. Hope your summer has been great! I wasn't aware there was a change in tuition. To my knowledge it's $600 per credit.. I imagine a lot. Probably clinical assignments , going thru the handbook, supplies needed, introduction to staff, ID's, school emails, and test given for math for meds course..... not sure what else but I can imagine......

That sounds correct, wanted to be sure that was the accurate price. Good luck with your last week of phil!. I think you've hit the nail on the head with the orientation agenda; can't imagine much more than that. Wish we had a book list though...

Omg don't mention the booklist. It's driving me crazy. I'm one of those people that like to get things ahead of time. It's bothering my nerves not having a booklist. Lol ugh

So to those who went to orientation, what did you think of it?? Anyone else excited/nervous about the new semester. Clinical sites and syllabus information has already been posted so look for it if you haven't seen it already.

Where did you see the clinical sites and syllabus info posted? Orientation was okay, ready to get started!
