Hello! I've been accepted into PSON AAS Program beginning Fall 2017 and its odd not to find any of my fellow classmates on this site :unsure:It would be nice to get familiar with one another before the program begins & update one another on how we are coming along in preparation of the program. Maybe even share some information from other threads as far as increasing our success in the program! The competition is finally over and we are officially a family Well, hope everyone enjoys their day and I'm excited to hear from my soon to be fellow classmates! Congratulations
Yay so happy to have found this thread! I will also be starting the AAS program this fall. We actually just received an email today from MG regarding our scrub fitting date :) very excited for that! I am currently taking the medical dosage class at LaGuardia Community College.Have a great day all!
Yay another person commented! :) I received the email from MG too! can't wait to see you guys there!. It's great you're getting the dosage calculation class out of the way. How difficult of a course is it? I am taking A&P 2 at LaGuardia currently. It seems that you would only have to take fundamentals once school starts yes?
Oh wow you're are LaGuardia also? that's awesome! I just started the Medical Dosage class and so far it seems like it will be pretty easy. Its basics math and its only a 2 credit course. And yes I will only be taking fundamentals once school starts, I cant wait. How many classes have you taken at LaGuardia?

Glad to hear that the course isn't too bad. I am a second degree student so only taking a few course to lessen the burden once nursing school starts. I took A&P 1 and Dev Psych 2 (only took dev psych 1 from my previous degree) and I took those back in march and am currently taking only A&P 2 right now. It's great that you're only taking one class, I'm sure it'll make the whole experience much easier once we all start! I'll just be taking med math and fundamentals once classes start.
hi!! I'll also be starting the program this fall!! congrats to all :)would anyone have the link that MG sent regarding course listings?
Also, how are some of you supplementing? loans, grants...etc??? specifically 2nd degree students
link is here (Be sure to click on Fall 2017 if it didn't show up) depending on which program you're in aAAS or ABSN.
and as for funding - I'm a second degree student, but doing the aAAS because well didn't finish the pre-reqs in time to apply. it's loans, and whatever scholarships they give me.. if any. How about yourself?
