I wonder how many people will be eligible for this Fall. If only 80 out of 220 were eligible for Fall 2011 that means 140 didn't make the cut. That is a LOT of people. I really hope they send out some sort of ranking this month. I'm so nervous!

Gurjit123, do you mind sending me last year rankings also?

Gurjit, thank you so much! It's intimidating to look at, but it shocks me how many people do not have very high GPA's but were saved by their teas score! Would anyone be willing to call the advisor and ask what the number has been narrowed down to after the teas scores were turned in? I would, but I've called a few times in the last few weeks already. lol

No problem. Yeah I know a lot of people that got accepted and had two C's in their pre requirements. They made it up by doing well on that test. I know several people who took the teas every chance they could get to improve their score. If you guys call they are going to tell you that they plan on sending tentative standing soon and that's when we'll know. Cuz although they have all the teas scores inputted they still have some files they haven't even looked at. It's really busy in the nursing department. It's time for advising so if you guys call i am sure you guys won't get the answer your looking for.

Well you guys, I'm seriously discouraged after seeing last years unofficial rankings. I'm going to assume I didn't make it unless they tell me otherwise. SO, I'm taking action. I'm retaking Stats this fall to improve my grade and I'm going to retake the TEAS before the next application period. If I get into the program at the CC between now and then at least when I decide to go back to school I'll be that much closer to my BSN. I will not give up.

@justbreathe Your so awesome! Hey you want to know my story. I was taking a full load of classes exactly a year ago. Physio being the hardest. Since at csub physio is only offered once I focused so much time just for that class and when it came time to take the teas I took it very lightly. At csub you pretty much only get to take it once and they don't tell you about the other places to take the test until the very last minute for some reason. I was told if I didn't go take it at fresno state or somewhere else by the next 2 days I wouldn't be considered. I wish they told me about fresno state a long time ago. I really didn't know I could take the test at another school. So I dind't study and I got an 69 score. I was then not considered an applicant at the time even though I had only two C's, two B's and the rest A's. people with worse grades then me got in at the time. I was so sad. So for my break I went on a holiday to just relax and came back in aug to retake the classes I did so awful in. I got an A in one of them. Just completed another. Now I am retaking a class I previously got an B in for an A. I am telling you it's really good your not giving up. Never give up. I wanted to so many times. I haven't yet. So now I almost have all the points for the gpa. I still didn't manage to score very good on the teas but going from 69 to 80 is pretty good in my opinion. Oh did I mention one of the classes I retook I had to drive twice a week 1.5 hours one way because where I lived the classes were all full. in the end worth it because I got an A. In that time of taking that class I applied to every possible CC, but was getting rejected because my units were short. CSUB is a quarter college so that was another problem I faced. I was limited to certain CC that I could apply. I still didn't give up. Exact year has passed and now I got into two community colleges and now waiting for csub. what you wrote reminded me of myself. Just don't give up. Also I am sure you don't have that bad grades. I know people that got in and only got an 75 on the teas. However, at that time there was an interview so they managed to score near perfect on that to make up for their bad teas score. This time no interview so there isn't the luxury of that. However, don't worry. Def retake the teas. You will get in if you don't get in this time.

Also, I emailed csub nursing department and like I said they didn't give me an answer I wanted. they told me to wait for the tentative standings.
