Unfortunately, I failed my NCLEX last week. Still getting over it, but am determined to pass the 2nd time around, especially since I wasn't able to review how I wanted to the first time.
I have already sent in my re-application and retake fee. For those who have retaken the NCLEX in California, how long did it take you to receive your eligibility notice after submitting your reapplication fee? I know that there is a 45 day waiting period - do they wait until the 45 days is up to send you the new ATT? Or do they send you the new ATT before the 45 days is up, but not allow you to reschedule the exam until 45 days has passed since you failed the exam?
Xane if you're getting an unable to register pop-up when you're trying to register, you more than likely passed! :)
If you go through to the credit card information page, then it's a fail, which is what happened to me.
yup, it sure is a waiting game!! sorry its taking so long...but you sure have the right attitude!!! i will continue to wait for my letter, hopefully this week since my exam was fri. i still cant re-register for a new exam and as much as i try to think positive about it, im not buying that the PVT is 100% accurate at this point:unsure:how did you study the first time and what are you going to do differently this time?
Mehra, how long after you sent in the application did they cash your check? Like skipabeat says, it may take 6-8 weeks after they cashed the check to get the ATT
Hey, i also sent an application to reapply to nCLEX RN. i send it in March. i dint get any response from BRN yet.but, they have withdrawn the fee from my Account. i Called them up but they are not answering the call. its been around 2 months.
Yeah well, they barely cashed my check on May 1, 2014 & I sent off my application on March 27. BRN said that they don't recognize you until they cash your check and it should take approx 6-8 weeks just to get to that step. (AGAIN). I figured I should be getting an ATT by the end of the month- first week in June. Then you got look for an available date.... and on and on.. We failed, move on and get prepared to pass on the next try because it's just a waiting game with the BRN and their is nothing we can do about it, so just use this time to study!!!
Hey did you send online application or through mail??
Hi StarJay,
Have you received your ATT by now? I'm curious because I sent my reapply application on June 18. Called on July 9 for an update and the lady told me to call back end of the month, which surpasses my 45 day wait period. Called again on July 28 and my money order still hasn't been cashed. I called again yesterday and my money order still hasn't been cashed yet. The person I spoke to yesterday said it takes up to 6 weeks upon receipt to cash the check/money order and then another 8-12 weeks to get an ATT.
