Any ASU Spring 2010 applicants out there?

I just submitted my application today to ASU. I am nervous I hope a 5.66 is going to get me in, it is going to suck sitting on pins and needles until Oct. to find out.

haha, I have been sitting in my window seat for the past hour and a half on my laptop waiting to see the glimmer of the white Post Office truck pass my mailbox....

Unfortunately, for me at least, the letter still hasn't come. I really hope it comes tomorrow! It's going to be torture having to wait until Monday, if not... haha. ASU sure knows how to pull on our heartstrings! :heartbeat

We'll get them sooner or later! We just need to hang in there! :up:

My mail man told me yesterday that he would come EARLY to deliver the mail so I could see if the letter came. He kept his word and delivered our mail at 9AM today with an attached note saying, "Sorry, your letter hasn't come yet, maybe tomorrow." I'm hoping he keeps me in his thoughts on his rounds tomorrow. If he comes early again, and I get the letter, I'll post the lowest admitted advancement score for everybody tomorrow; being that everyone doesn't usually receive their mail til' late in the afternoon. I'll try to keep everyone updated. Don't stress guys, like someone said earlier, we're in this together :)

UPDATE:

Hey guys, just got the letter. The lowest advancement score was 5.689...

I didn't get in, so I have to reapply in February... :(

Oh wow. Thank you for the update--and thank you to your mail carrier! That's awesome that he/she did that for you.

It looks like several of us didn't make it this time around. That really stinks. I guess I'll be seeing several of you guys again for the summer rotation :p

Man, I don't want to have to go through all of this again.... :crying2::sniff::sniff: This is a bit of a bummer.

However, :ancong!: to everyone who made it in! You guys worked hard for it. :heartbeat

Don't worry Pineapple Crush, that's just the way it goes I guess... But I know alot of ppl that didn't make it in. Almost 300 people applied this cycle and they only took 80 so ALOT of ppl will be sad today :( February is just right around the corner. In the meantime, I'm gonna work on a minor. Also, don't forget to sign up for a NET study guide session (RDG and MATH); they're free! Congrats to those who made it!!

I haven't gotten my letter yet but that score means I got in. Yay! I've been out of school waiting for 8 months cuz I've been done with all the prereqs. It's wierd saying this but not being in school and just working is really boring lol. I can't wait to start classes again. For those who didn't get in, i know how you feel. That letter that says we regret to inform you... Is really heart breaking. But you all did really great! And good job on your hard work! Most people don't get in the first time but never give up! I was thinking of changing my major cuz I was So discouraged but I got back up and did it. And remember you can always take higher classes to replace lower grades on your application and start studying the net as soon as possible! I used the net study guide and I also got an arithmetic book unrelated to the net to study fractions, decimals, and basic algebra. There's lots of things to do to prepare! Well I'll stop rambling on. Congratulations to the people who got in! And good luck next semester to the others!!!

I guess my 5.660 did not cut it. I am on the alternate list but that dosen't mean much. That sucks 0.029 points away from getting in that is like one more question correct on the NET :cry:. Oh well good luck to you guys that made it in.

I wanna say thanks to the mail man who delivered that letter early. When I found out that the letters were floating around mail-land somewhere me and mom were like driving around stalking him. Anyhoo if you didn't get in don't become discouraged because then you'll be you're worst enemy. Trust me. It doesn't mean your inadequate. If you want this keep at. If you made the alternate list you're pretty good to go. You would be amazed at how many people decline advancement or don't pass a drug test. My friend was and alternate for spring 09 and got advanced. And for those that made it my name is Terren and I'll see ya around. Good luck to everybody :)
