Hello everyone,

I haven't posted much but I'm currently in the process of applying for the new graduate nursing boards for the Air Force. I graduate with my bachelors of nursing in May!! I thought it would be nice to connect and see if anyone else is applying for the new graduate board selection. My recruiter told me they meet and make decisions in July. If I get it, I'll be heading to COT in October!

Currently, the recruiter has me picking out bases that I would like to be selected at for NTP. I'm also awaiting a medical exam date. If anyone has any input on great places to start out my nursing career, let me know!

Thanks!

Katherinevt check your Messages I PM'd you.

Congratulations to everyone. I just found out that I was selected too into OB woo hooo. Im still trying to process everything. It's all surreal. I'm so happy right now:yes:

Me!!! Are you??

Yeah! Regis's accelerated program. Were you selected for OB?

Do you have to submit transcripts from every college you've attended?

Congrats everyone!! And to those that weren't! Don't give up! Life has its ways of getting you to the destination that you were meant to be! :)

I just signed and sent back the LOA and a copy of my passport. The LOA had a COT date of Oct 5th but my recruiter didn't tell me when I was going?? Also, anyone hear where they are headed yet?? I'm so excited!

No assignment yet, but I just found out that I'm starting COT on Jan. 11. Anyone else with me?

ahhh you have your training date?! I don't yet, or I don't think so. My LOA had Oct 5th on it but my recruiter hasn't told me officially when I'm going!

I have no news yet. What's LOA? But I have meps on Thursday! :)

LOA is letter of acceptance that you sign stating you accept the conditional offering. My recruiter emailed me it to sign and send him back ASAP

SamiRose, I put MacDill, FL, Dover, DE, San Antonio, TX, Eglin, FL, and Buckley, CO on my wishlist. I'll most likely get San Antonio but it would be so amazing to get somewhere in Germany!!

Kminak, I haven't seen anything in writing yet...but I was just told I start 11 JAN as well.
