Lately I've been feeling a lot of anxiety about getting in for 2015. I took a semester off due to stress, and haven't done AP since December of 2014.
I didn't do horrible, but my science grades aren't really that fantastic. I have a B+ in both AP1 and Chemistry, and everything is relying on my getting an A in AP2 for even a chance of admittance. I'm worried that if I don't retake all classes, I won't get in the program. I'm retaking a lot of my co-reqs(English, math, etc) in order to give myself a better advantage but for some reason I find myself terrified. Absolutely horrified. I'm only taking AP 2, English 1, precalculus, and history this fall but I fear I will fail.
My question is, how do you avoid the anxiety? How do you relax?
I have two kids and a third on the way. Their future is contingent on my grades, and I'm worried I'm not good enough..

I think you are taking on too much while pregnant. You might want to cut back a little. When is your next one due? I just know pregnancy is difficult and so are the first 6 weeks or so. Cut yourself some slack and relax.

Good day, illusion9376:
I cannot imagine taking on that much in your situation. Cut back some as Heathermaizey. You may also want to check if your neurotransmitters are in sync. Last fall, my anxiety levels were shooting through the roof. I find taking long walks to be extremely relaxing in terms of a very natural way to remove stress.
Thank you.

Take a deep breath and relax. Find yourself a support system, perhaps go to counseling if needed and maybe even an advisor can help you choose classes per semester so you don't feel bogged down and stressed. To be honest, you have so much on your plate right now, I am telling you it's okay to slow down. All this stressing is not good for a baby.

Walking and other activities are great for stress reduction and sunlit to get away. Reducing work overload can be helpful. Asking for help from friends or family especially with another child on the way. Taking time off to relax. Even a counseling session to talk through your anxieties with a licensed professional and determine a plan of action can be very helpful.

I've had anxiety my entire life, but usually have been able to calm myself without needs for medical intervention. It's just been these last few weeks before this semester starts. I know that stressing isn't good for the baby but 3/4 of my classes are online, and AP2 is literally the only one that's in class. That's the only reason I chose the semester I did. Plus, all three of those classes have their exams online as well. None of those are what stresses me out. Only AP2.
If it weren't for the fact I have a 6 credit class I have to do next semester, retake chemistry, and retake English 2 - I totally would slow down. However, without taking 12 credits my schools financial aid wouldn't kick in.
I guess I just don't feel good enough. Last year gave me and my husband a pretty rocky experience, which left us to moving back into my moms house. I know that working right now isn't feasible for me, but school is the only way I will get us out and back on our feet. Having 1 bedroom for 4 people doesn't help. I have nowhere to study.
I wonder if going to the campus would ease some stress. That way I can actually study. I'm just trying to get ahead so I'm not feeling as clueless.
Thanks guys. I really appreciate the comments.
Maybe going on campus would remove you from the stress at home and be a helpful academic environment. Good self discovery there!
You can see if your school offers counseling, time management, organization skill or other groups. Even a student with children/family group may help you. Good luck. Good insight you are going in the right direction. You seem overwhelmed right now but holding your head up. Build on that
While it will not help with the anxiety issue, I've found https://www.open2study.com/courses/chemistry to be a very helpful free class to take in terms of preparing for chemistry in the classroom.

Well chemistry is able to be replaced by an introduction in molecular and cellular biology class, which is mostly online except the labs. I was going to go that route. Not that I don't appreciate my chemistry knowledge, I just wouldn't want to take it again! Lol

You are so lucky to have a great support system - mother and spouse who support your goals. Count your blessings! Nursing education can be a very stressful process, and you aren't even there yet. If you are already having this much difficulty, you may want to begin thinking about a Plan B if nursing proves to be too much for you. There are other health care professions with similar academic pre-requisites that may prove to be less taxing for you.
Best of luck to you. Give your mom and hubs a huge hug for us.
