Starting a new 2014 thread for AVC hopefuls. Seems on the older thread many of them have started or moved on..

I applied June '13 and was hopeful for this fall, but came just shy. Now I am number 3 on the wait list for Spring '15... Still planning on getting my physical and shots, CPR certs, etc done in case anyone defers or backs out.

Anyone else out there in for this fall, still waiting or also starting in spring? Love to hear from everyone!

I applied for the RN program in December 2014 before the deadline. Has anyone received letters yet or does anyone have any information on what is going on with the wait times right now? Thanks in advance!

i recieved a letter from the nursing department last week asking me to complete the point evaluation form.

I got mine today.. Gonna turn it in tomorrow. I heard they're making decisions in May for fall 2015 & September for spring 2016

I was taken off of the waitlist, after I applied and passed the TEAS. With the new changes, I was taken off and was told to retake Statistics :(

That sucks....retake it over the summer and hopefully you will be able to start in spring.

It really does. I was lucky enough to crash a stats class this semester so hopefully I'll get myself back on the list once final grades are up.

They sent out letters on Thursday/ Friday.. Just waiting for my letter in the mail this week :)
