Starting a new 2014 thread for AVC hopefuls. Seems on the older thread many of them have started or moved on..
I applied June '13 and was hopeful for this fall, but came just shy. Now I am number 3 on the wait list for Spring '15... Still planning on getting my physical and shots, CPR certs, etc done in case anyone defers or backs out.
Anyone else out there in for this fall, still waiting or also starting in spring? Love to hear from everyone!
Thanks! I PASSED! All together I ended up getting a 70.7% because i ran out of time on the math and score really low on that section because of it My advice is just to watch your time & don't stay on one problem too long. GOOD LUCK!! Let me know how yours goes :)

Congratulations !!!!!! I am so glad that you passed :) I am just hoping for a passing grade. Thanks, I will let you know and will watch my time in the math section.
Congratulations! Hey you passed that's all that matters :) did you do those 2 ATI practice tests before taking the exam? Did the ati book helped?
Thanks! :) Yes I did and yes it did. Very much. If I hadn't used it, I'm pretty sure I would not have passed. I haven't done things that the book had covered in years. Science seemed the easiest and I ended up scoring the lowest on that :/ Definitely important to watch your time as another had mentioned. If I didn't know how to figure it out from the get go, id pick a random answer, mark it down on my scratch paper to go back to later, to save time.

i haven't received anything yet, I think they might be waiting for everyone to take the TEAS so then they can see who passed/failed & start sending stuff out after that.
