I saw a little girl today for a small scratch on her ankle. She asked for a bandaid and a cup of ice "because I have a drain in my stomach that lets the ice go down to my foot." Can't argue with that kind of logic

I had a sweet little kindergartener tell me this week that the water in my health room makes everything better!

Too funny - my girls are 9 and 11 now. When my 9 year old was about 4 she came running in the house after falling and scraping up her knee, wailing "I ne-e-ed an i-i-ice pa-ack" I really had to keep myself from laughing, because up until that day a bandaid was a cure all for any bump or bruise. I still don't know where she learned about ice packs, although I think it was at day care because she wasn't in school yet.
